Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are
RasaBridge (rasabridge.com) is an educational platform about Ayurveda and its intersection with modern research. It is operated as an independent educational project. For privacy-related queries, contact us at hello@rasabridge.com.
2. What Data We Collect
Analytics data: RasaBridge uses Vercel Analytics, a cookieless, privacy-preserving analytics service. It does not collect personally identifiable information, does not use browser cookies, and does not track you across other websites. Data includes aggregate page views, approximate country-level geographic region, device type, and referral source. No individual user profiles are created.
AI Learning Guide queries: When you use the AI Learning Guide, your query is transmitted to our AI model provider (Anthropic) to generate a response. RasaBridge does not store your queries or link them to any personal identifier. However, you should not submit personal health information, your name, contact details, or any sensitive personal data into the AI Guide.
Contact emails: If you email us at hello@rasabridge.com or legal@rasabridge.com, we receive and may retain that email to respond to your query.
No accounts: RasaBridge does not currently require account registration and does not collect names, email addresses, or contact details as part of normal site use.
3. Sensitive Personal Data
RasaBridge does not intentionally collect sensitive personal data as defined under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 — including health data, financial data, biometric data, or data about children. If you are under 18, please do not submit personal information through this site. If you believe we have inadvertently received sensitive data, please contact us immediately at hello@rasabridge.com so we can delete it.
4. How We Use Data
Analytics data is used solely to understand aggregate usage patterns — which pages are visited, from which regions, and on which devices — to improve the platform. No personal data is sold, rented, shared with advertisers, or used for profiling. We do not use your data for automated decision-making that affects you.
5. Your Rights Under the DPDP Act 2023
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, you have the following rights as a Data Principal:
Right to information: You have the right to know what personal data we hold about you and how it is processed.
Right to correction and erasure: You have the right to correct inaccurate personal data and to request erasure of personal data that is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or where you withdraw consent.
Right to withdraw consent: Where processing is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
Right to grievance redressal: You have the right to file a grievance with us regarding any processing of your personal data.
Right to nominate: You may nominate another individual to exercise your rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.
To exercise any of these rights, contact our Grievance Officer at: hello@rasabridge.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe. Because RasaBridge does not collect personal data in ordinary use, most requests will be addressed by confirming that no personal data is held.
6. Data Retention
Aggregate analytics data is retained in accordance with Vercel's data retention policies. Contact emails are retained only as long as needed to resolve your query. No personal data about individual site visitors is retained by RasaBridge beyond what is described above.
7. Third-Party Services
Vercel: We use Vercel for hosting and analytics. Vercel's privacy policy applies to data processed through their infrastructure (vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy).
Anthropic: AI Learning Guide queries are processed by Anthropic's API. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to data processed through their systems (anthropic.com/privacy). Do not submit personal health information into the AI Guide.
External links: We may link to external research publications or databases. Their privacy policies apply when you visit those sites.
8. Cookies
RasaBridge does not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or persistent session cookies. Any cookies set are strictly necessary for site operation. Vercel Analytics is cookieless and does not require a cookie consent banner under most frameworks.
9. Children's Data
RasaBridge is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has submitted personal data, contact us at hello@rasabridge.com and we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be noted here with an updated date and, where appropriate, communicated via site notice. Continued use of RasaBridge after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
